It all began with a ten-year-old boy

skipping stones in a quiet creek...

 ... surrounded by family and the gentle hum of summer. Little did we know that same boy would one day own a stunning short-term rental overlooking the 9th Hole at Huron Shores Golf Course.

Fast forward fifty years, and that childhood dream has come full circle.

Back in the 1970s, his parents owned a charming property nestled along the course. Over time, life moved on, and the land changed hands. The original home was lost to a fire in the early 2020s, leaving behind three acres, a weathered garage, and hundreds of golf balls embedded in the hillside — a quiet reminder of the memories once made there.

In 2021, the dream was reignited. Though the property wasn’t listed for sale, determination and heart led to its purchase in early 2024. Construction began that September — a day made even more special by the birth of their first grandchild.

Now, in 2025, that vision has blossomed into a beautifully crafted two-story retreat, designed with comfort, charm, and connection in mind.
